  •   THE best grinder! Lightyears ahead of the others!

Pros : -Super quiet and very smooth operation (minimal vibration felt) -Incredibly effective (takes only seconds to grind a piece vs minutes with my old grinder) -Powerful (has amazing RPMs and highest HP motor for a glass grinder) -Light bar is amazing and bright and you can see everything (gone is the tiny spotlight I had on my Studio Pro) -Quick-Fit Bit holder is super slick and easy to use and bits last way longer than my old bits) -You can use different, high-quality bits too, like the Brilliant bits -Removable water tray (no more lugging the entire grinder over to the sink to drain and super easy to keep clean) -Built-in splash guard (perfectly placed, works fabulously, keeps area around grinder clean, not solid so the glass can pass through it to get at all angles) -No sponge and bulky sponge holder (Aqua Flow brush system works much, much better) -Even more Pros, I just ran out of space!
Cons : NONE - it is sheer perfection.
Other Thoughts : If you are on the fence about spending the extra money to get The Grinder, it is well worth it! I wish I had bought this grinder from the start - my mind was blown by its exceptional function and quality. Nothing even comes close in comparison to the other glass grinders I have used. Grinding is so much more enjoyable and satisfying now. It is very versatile as well - the large working space is great for grinding big pieces and I love using the Mini G elevated platform and bits to grind out even the smallest of curves. This grinder is worth every penny and with a 7 year warranty you can't go wrong. The company is fabulous too - Techniglass customer service is super helpful and backs their product 100% - had a Quick-fit bit holder that didn't quite stay in place on the shaft enough, so I called them and they immediately shipped out a new one at no charge.

Pros : On top of working really well and easily, it is very sleek looking. The light, plastic face guard and back flaps make grinding glass a lot more comfortable. I like how easy it is to change the bits and the little water brush.
Cons : the water tray is a little shallow and hard to remove to clean without getting water in the motor part.
Other Thoughts : I broke the first one I got a few years ago and liked it so much I replaced it with the same one.

Other Thoughts : The grinder very quiet and the water system for the bit works well and has no pump to go bad. The bit runs on a stepper motor which is more reliable that a regular motor

Pros : I already have a grinder but I have recently been teaching my niece stained glass and sharing one grinder wasn’t working out so I needed another. I purchased The Grinder as it has a lower height profile and I liked the reviews. Though I can’t say that lifting and emptying a tray filled with water works for me (I’m not the steadiest person on earth walking with a shallow water pan). Overall I like it. The lighting is really nice, it’s quiet and has a better water flow thanmine. The mini tower is hands down the best I’ve ever used. The storage tray is up front and easily accessible. Time will tell but so far so good.
Cons : Not as easy to lift and walk any distance to empty the water tray without spilling water. I use a sponge to remove and change the water.
Other Thoughts : Maybe a drain would be helpful.

Pros : Easy to change the head out....super super quiet compared to other grinders....great light.
Cons : not sure i like the brush water supply - getting used to it
Other Thoughts : I have heard good and bad about this grinder. Personally I love it. If you are just starting out and can afford it - then go for it. Other less expensive grinders will do the job. It's sort of like the difference in driving a Ford Escort vs A Cadillac.

Pros : I got the Grinder, Big one, the work service is double of my old one, the glass does not get stuck on the grid, the grinding bit goes way up so you can grind even the thick glass, its super fast, cutting your grinding time in half and the Grinder is super quiet !!!! buy it !!! The Grinder is its weight worth in Platinum, gold and silver !!!!
Cons : The Protective shield came with 2 stickers on that left the glue behind when pulled it off, I used rubbing alcohol and a soft rag but the shield still got so scratched up I cant use it, so be very careful when removing the stickers

Pros : Very attractive design and enjoyable to use. Definitely elevates my experience in the studio. The built in light is wonderful! Cleaning is a breeze, which is refreshing. I have used it nearly every day for the past four months without any issues.
Cons : Emptying the water basin should be done carefully, as the water may slosh over the edge if you move too quickly.
Other Thoughts : This grinder is a game changer. I was hesitant to carve out a larger space in my small studio for the big footprint of this thing, as I work with suncatchers and felt the extra surface area unnecessary, but now I can't imagine going back. Overall, I am thrilled and will tell you it's definitely worth splurging on if you like nice things!

Pros : The splash shield with LED lights, the rubberized splash guard on the back of the surface, the convenient drawer to store grinder bits and tools, the raised platform for small bits
Cons : there is a bit of dismantling of the full size grinder head to be able to install the raised surface and smaller heads. The ground glass particles congregate around where the grinder head shaft is more than other grinders.
Other Thoughts : The quiet motor, the lighted large surface area are great selling points. It is a great grinder that greatly enhances visualization of the glass you are grinding.

Pros : - The LED light is the best in the business. It shines exactly where you need it with no shadows - Quiet! Compared to my old grinder, this sure is easier on the ears - Easy of changing grinder bits. I frequently change the size of my bits to accommodate curves and add gems to a panel. This makes that chore so much quicker.
Cons : - It’s a bit on the pricey side, but for me, it’s worth every cent.

Cons : I haven't found any yet after using this for 4 large projects
Other Thoughts : This is compact, yet large, and well-made. The LED light is nice and bright. The shaft, unlike my last grinder, doesn't flex. This is a great machine.
