When you scrub cement under the lead, zinc or brass came in your panels, you add strength, weatherproofing, and an instant patina to your project. Don't skip this essential step - Miracle Mudd makes it easy!
This unique 2-part black cement system takes the place of traditional pre-mixed putties, so you can mix as little or as much as you need for each project. Because it comes as 2 parts, there's no settling or struggle to re-mix your cement - and there's no limit to the shelf life.
Approximately 10 oz. of Miracle Mudd dry mix and small Miracle Mudd liquid solution included. Makes approximately 1 lb. of cement mixed.
To use:
1. Pour the liquid into a mixing container. Stir in a bit of powder at a time until you've reached your preferred consistency. You can choose how thick or thin you prefer - most artists report that they prefer to use something in a range between brownie batter and bread dough. Allow to set for 10 - 20 minutes, then stir again before use.
2. Apply to your project with a brush, pushing the Miracle Mudd under the came.
3. Apply whiting powder and clean your project promptly to remove excess Miracle Mudd. Note: Once Miracle Mudd has dried completely it will be difficult to remove, especially from textured glass.
4. Allow project to dry flat 24 - 48 hours.
