Pros : Mounted on a spool, storage space is negligible; need only cut what you need; very little waste or pieces laying around the studio.
Cons : Sometimes came gets a bit twisted, but is usually easy to straighten out with a good fid.
Other Thoughts : A very good value for a handy, quality product!

Pros : Easy to store and use. Unrolls easily and stretches just like the stick type. Saves having to buy full boxes of came to get value and only have to buy about 139 feet rather than 366 feet in strips.
Cons : Must measure to fit my stretcher tool which is set up for six-foot sticks. Minor twists and compressed sections appear at times on the roll, but I cut around them and had very little wasted came.
Other Thoughts : There was a bit of waste with some twisted came in a few parts of the roll, but I put the scrap pieces in a Pet-Milk can, including all the twisted pieces and that was from two rolls of this product. Just be careful as you unroll it. I am going to build a rack onto which I can mount the spool to make it easier to roll off six-foot strips. Saves a lot of space in storage. Good product.

Pros : Spooled lead is so much easier to store than lead strips. When used with a Stanton Lead Stretcher, it's the perfect match! I like being able to only cut off what I need and not have tons of odds & ends pieces laying around.
Cons : I've not encountered any cons.
Other Thoughts : When you calculate out the cost per linear foot for spooled lead vs. lead strips, spooled really is the way to go.

Pros : Takes less storage space.
Cons : The first part of the spool was fine but the last 3/4 was bent severely in places and resulted in a lot of waste.
