Class Description:
Make fabulous fused glass jewelry for yourself or for a gift in this 4-hour fun class. 
Learn how to design, layer, and fuse decorative glass in a jewelry casting mold.  Each student will have the use of their own table top kiln. All aspects of the fusing process will be discussed as well as suggestions on jewelry findings and types of adhesives. Each student will make 2 rings and 2 pairs of earrings. No fusing or glass experience is necessary.  All materials are included.
 
Safety:
Please do not wear sandals if cutting or handling glass. Safety glasses must be worn during class, provided if needed.    
 
Tools and materials included:
Fusible 90 COE glass and frit.
Dichroic glass
Use of glass cutting tools and
Jewelry findings to finish 2 rings and 2 pair of earrings.
 
Additional Tools & Materials:
Optional: Pen and paper for notes.
 
Tuition:
$60     4 Hrs. 
 
Class start:
10am – 2pm  (1hr lunch @approximately 12:30-1:30pm)

Pros : A fun class with the opportunity to make a lot of different items and designs. Val did a great job!
Cons :
Other Thoughts : It would have been nice to have a review of all bales, pins, chains etc. that are available as well as some tips on different levels of quality, where to find them.

Pros : Wonderful staff and location. We were taught a wide range of techniques to use for fusing and molding glass. Val was so friendly and eager to work with all skill levels. I was impressed with the ability to create so many pieces and experiment with different colors and styles of glass making with a kiln.
Cons : None, I was impressed with every aspect of the class.
