Type of Class: Demonstration and hands-on project

Class Description: Create your own custom writing pen and try your hand at beadmaking all in this  2½ hr workshop. Students can choose from a vast array of glass colors to make several unique beads of their own.   Make for yourself or give as a special one of a kind gift.. No experience is necessary.

Safety: Please do NOT wear open toed shoes or sandals. Long pants are recommended but not mandatory. Natural fiber clothes are best, cotton, linen, etc. Long hair should be tied back. Safety glasses must be worn, glasses are provided in class if needed.

Tools & Materials Included: Glass rods, use of mandrels and torches, hand tools, and pen with shaft for beads.
