Pros : Steena was a very good instructor. This was a beginners class and she did a fine job of explaining how to get started with this fascinating hobby.
Cons : The class description stated that supplies were $10.00--- and then the copper bowls were actually $12.95. This needs to be corrected (and then the class description updated so that people understand they must PAY for the bowl in the photograph). As it stands it appears this is a "class project". Nope, it's not without $$$.
Minor issue (maybe) but misleading IMHO. Also the copper provided to work with was/is *incredibly flimsy* and couldn't be trusted to actually create wearable pieces that'd actually endure time. Not cool. I learned what I needed to, but wouldn't take the class again knowing what I know about the provided supplies and projects.
Other Thoughts : If you're going to choose between fusing and this copper enameling class.....go with the fusing. Supplies are plentiful in the former and beyond lackluster in the latter.
However, both instructors were fine.

Pros : Learned basic techniques for the future
Cons : Only 2 pairs of scissors and 8 people in class so were the last to get started which made us sitting around for 40 minutes. Could of had us started painting the bowls while we could not do anything
Other Thoughts : Walk around and make sure everyone knows how to use kiln etc. someone burnt up their piece.
