This 2-day workshop will walk you through the basics, and cover the advantages of using SilkeMat (a non-carcinogenic fiber blanket) and SilkeMat Rigidizer to make soft and rigid molds; strong enough to face many many firings.
The planned glass projects will include a Drop Ring Vase, a casting and a potmelt. In addition, you will make a JELLYFISH mold, an organic Slump Mold and a vitrigraph mold to take home. Projects may adapt with the dynamics of the class, but that's what creativity is all about.
