Pros : The book and the instruction given in class was very helpful in understanding all of the steps to make these wonderful glass flowers. The time allotted was good and all the supplies were provided.
Cons : As a working artist, I would have like to make several flowers to try out several types of mold. It would be helpful to understand the pros and cons of each type of mold. Hobbyists may not want to do this.

  •   Fun Class
By on
Pros : I enjoyed the creative process to make a glass flower. The instructor gave lots of helpful advice.
Cons : The first class could have been a little longer, as we went over about 30 minutes to get our flowers into the kiln. The second class, after firing went much quicker, and we finished up in about an hour.
Other Thoughts : Maybe you could make the first class 3 hours, and the second class just an hour. (?) Just a suggestion.

  •   Very cool!

Pros : Great instructor! Very informative and helpful. Great results! Get to make two flowers.
Cons : You get a book of patterns and ideas for the flowers to make. If you take the class more than once you are "buying" that same book again. Wish there was an option to pay a little less and not receive a duplicate book.
Other Thoughts : Plan to retake in the future since it was so much fun.
