Coldworking is any process that alters the state of the glass without using heat. It can involve drilling, cutting, sanding, grinding, de-burring sharp edges, engraving the surface, cutting out shapes, filing glass edges, sandblasting, polishing and finishing the surface to a desired effect. In this three-hour class, students will have the opportunity to learn many of these techniques. Tools big and small will be explained and available for the class to try out.
