Glass artist Cathy Claycomb is back at Delphi to teach three classes of her unique glass styles.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of America's best stained glass artists!
Combine your love of stained glass and beading in one class!
We will combine non-traditional glass objects to fabricate ultra-contemporary panels. Work Kokomo rondels, found items, or head glass (the ends of hand rolled sheet glass) and use common materials to produce "bronzed" reinforcement that allow open-ended design and dramatic dimension. Embellish "bronzed" and copper or brass framework with decorative solder and gracefully wired and soldered turquoise, red coral, jade and more.
After this class you may never make just a glass panel again!
All skill levels welcomed.
Some materials included; please bring your own glass cutting tools.
Students are invited to bring beading tools, large (25mm+-) and small beads (5/0, 6/0) of their choice or purchase them during class.
