Beadmaking Basics Workshop I

Type of Class: Demonstration and hands-on project
Try you hand at  beadmaking in this 3 hour beginner workshop. This class will provide an overview of glass beadmaking using a torch. Melt glass rods to shape into colorful beads in this hands-on introduction to beadmaking. All materials and use of our torches are included in this fun and informative warm glass experience.  We appologize in advance for getting you hooked.

Safety: Please do NOT wear open toed shoes or sandals. Long pants are recommended but not mandatory. Natural fiber clothes are best, cotton, linen, etc. Long hair should be tied back. Safety glasses must be worn, glasses are provided in class if needed.

Tools & Materials Included: Glass rods, use of mandrels and torches, hand tools

Additional Tools & Materials: Students must bring 1 tank of MAP/Pro gas - (Delphi does not sell). Available at most hardware or big box home improvement stores. (yellow tank)
