She learns and grows through experimentation, often finding inspiration from the materials themselves. In 2015 she retired from Hallmark Cards after 27 years. She moved to Arizona and began making mosaics full time as well as teaching workshops around the country. "I love working in mosaic, especially dealing with the challenges and limitations of the materials. The glass must be carefully chosen from a limited palette, since colors cannot be mixed, and each piece must serve as an individual brush stroke working in harmony with the surrounding pieces."

For the past 10 years she has actively taught workshops on the photoresist and the sandcarve process. In 2009, Liz started working with glass artists and incorporating the photoresist process into art glass. Liz travels setting up and coordinates all trade shows in the USA teaching the sandcarving process to new businesses. Several of her photoresist and sandcarving articles have been published in engraving magazines as well as articles showing specific techniques in sandcarving.

Since the late 1980's he has worked extensively with glass, having developed and refined a technique for 'painting with glass' that uses crushed glass (frit) in combination kiln fired methods. He refers to this process as fritography. Michael pioneered many kiln forming processes, especially in the area of mold making and kiln casting. With her husband she built their first glass blowing studio in 1975. Patty began working with fusing glass in the early 80's; she had to do lots of experimenting because there was not a lot of information available at that time. Patty and her husband have been producing architectural fused/cast glasswork for installations in major hotels, public buildings and private residences for over ten years. My glass kiln gets just as much miles on it as my Toyota Sienna van does driving the kids to sporting practice, dance rehearsals, school, etc. As a glass artist who has been fusing and working with the medium for 8 years +, I have spent countless hours exploring, experimenting, testing , and pushing the medium of glass to its limits to see how far I can go in creating something unique and pleasing for the art enthusiast. Previous positions and experience, I recently held a County position for a non profit Art Studio, serving artists with various developmental disabilities. As an instructor and teacher in the studio, I taught multiple artists with developmental disabilities the art of creating with and working in fused glass. It brought me pleasure to spend years investing my time, talent and experience into those artists, empowering them to become the successful artists they are today. Their work has been exhibited in galleries and venues all over the tristate area, sold in gift shops and art boutiques, as well as at fine art and craft fairs held locally throughout the year. Allowing the artists to be able to make a profit and income from their work. My body of work would be best defined as creating a constantly evolving range of decorative glass design. My current range is focused on sheets of glass and stringer strips made of glass to produce work which has undulating decorative motif art effects. One of my passions is spending hours in the studio experimenting with the glass medium and developing exciting ways to work with all the different materials. I enjoy the competition of entering my glass art into juried exhibitions and gallery shows. I find it gratifying watching others enjoy, appreciate and experience my work. I adore creating one of a kind pieces for sale in galleries and Art Fairs. As well as educating fellow glass artists of different fused glass techniques. More recently I am the author of a popular selling fused glass ebook which showcases unique techniques in Kiln Formed Glass. In my writing the ebook, my aim is to provide artists of all skill levels with ongoing support and education to assist in developing those artists skills. I hope to be able to reach glass artists around the world whom i other wise would not have the honor or pleasure working with in my studio, Haute Fusion Studio, in Middletown,OH. The procedure and practical skill taught in my Ebook is conducted using my own methodology and knowledge, which I have no doubt differs from others being taught by several different artists, nor will the end product be the same. I have no doubts that other artists techniques have their benefits, as does mine that I teach in my book; there is no harm in exploring and sharing popular processes.

For the past 16 years, he has been teaching stained glass, fused glass, etching and his favorite-screen printing on glass at his studio in the Gaithersburg Arts Barn and doing commission work from his home studio. Lisa has been working with hot glass for over thirty-five years. Receiving a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Lisa studied glassblowing and engraving at the Jon Meyer Studio and with artisans from Steuben in Corning. With work all over the world and in many books, Lisa's time is spent refining her craft, developing new techniques and teaching. She is the 2010 recipient of The International Society of Glass Beadmakers Hall of Flame Award. She lives in northern Virginia where she continues exploring the fine art of glass and flameworking.

Janet has been doing glass since 1979. Her desire to find something exciting and different to do with glass helped her create new designs and one of a kind works of art. Through the colors and textures of each bead design, Kim strives to capture a small reflection of nature's beauty. Kim is a birdwatcher and using a sculptural approach, she endeavors to capture them in greater detail. Lampworking is a growth process for her and she will continue to explore new ways to express herself through glass.

Cathy developed her unique style of copper foil "sculpture" in an effort to bring more realism to her stained glass work. Her art is in galleries and private collections across the country as well as abroad. She has been featured in multiple glass industry magazines, and is the author of a video describing her unique copper foil overlay soldering techniques.
