Product Description

Use in conjunction with the 8-3/4" plate mold (item# 80720). Fit them together, as shown below, allowing you to drop glass through the ring onto another piece of glass that is simultaneously draping on the foot mold to create a truly elegant and unique vessel.

Mold has a unique shape so that the finished piece includes a foot, or slightly raised pedestal, rather than having a simple flat bottom. 9" across by 4-1/2" tall. Inside measures 7" across by 3-1/4" tall.

  •   Great Idea!

Pros : Super convenient, makes great bowls!
Cons :
Other Thoughts : I have a 6" high chamber in my kiln; this mold barely fits inside (once you get the top drop ring and glass placed on it) Had to heat slowly, but it worked great. Also, make sure you kiln-wash it really well, the lower level seems to be persnickety about releasing the glass!
