  •   Decent Beginner Set

Pros : Includes items I wouldn't have thought to purchase as a beginner, like the hammer and the pattern shears
Cons : As with most kits, there are some items that are lower quality versions of their kind. That makes it hard to justify spending more money on a nicer tool that would duplicate what's already in your set.
Other Thoughts : Not knowing much about leading, this was a helpful buy to practice with before deciding what supplies you might want going forward!

Pros : EVERY TOOL ADDED TO MY PRODUCTION OF SOME GREAT PIECES. HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE CEMENT
Cons : THE JOINT CEMENT (BLACK) IS...ITS JUST HORRIBLE TO LEARN WITH.
Other Thoughts : THE (BLACK) JOINT CEMENT IS A HUGE MESS WAITING TO HAPPEN. ITS AS SOLID AS A ROCK WITH ALL THE OIL RENDERED TO THE TOP. IT'S LIKE TRYING TO RETRIEVE DRIED CONCRETE. ONCE YOU DO GET THE BUCKE EMPTY...DO OT WEAR ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT AS IT WILL BE RUINED. ITS SOFT AND PLIABLE LITE FLIMSY SILLY PUTTY ONCE YOU WORK IT BACK TO GOOD. I USED SOME WHITING FOR MINE TO KEEP IT FROM MAKING SUCH AN INCREDIBLE MESS

Pros : Seems like a nice kit and shipping was quick but pricey. Video was semi informative.
Cons : Shippment was missing the glass pack and the black epoxy. I talked to Delphi and arrange to have the missing items shipped to me.
Other Thoughts : Make sure you have everything you ordered when you recieve your shippment.

Pros : Great value. You get a lot of bang for your buck, some of the most beautiful colors of glass, and all the tools you need to start your first project. The instructional DVD has great tips for cutting, foiling, soldering and lead came. I would recommend this package to anyone.
Cons : The DVD, although very informative, has glitches in it which seems to be common for Delphi DVD's.
Other Thoughts : Over all, I am very happy with the ultimate lead tool kit and recommend it "what a great value".

Pros : Almost everything you need to get started on lead came.
Cons : No instruction on use of lead stretcher.
Other Thoughts : I am teaching myself stained glass and would have liked more information on use of tools. I purchased a dvd thinking the tools would be explained in detail. I still have to search the web for instruction.
