  •   Sturdy, stable
By on
Pros : This iron stand is a good value for the money. The welds are smooth and well connected. The coating seems durable. They travel to my shows, but I keep them wrapped separate to minimize scratching. Stability wise, it can hold a piece much larger than it's measurements. The iron is square and is about 3/8" in diameter making it sturdy. It would be beneficial if Delphi would provide the exact diameter of the iron itself in all the descriptions as it makes a difference in the piece that is set on it. Slight possibility of seeing the touch point if the glass is light opaque.
Cons : Not in quality. Delphi could provide the diameter of the iron in each stand.
Other Thoughts : Sits flat on surface. Also is even across if your glass is square. Your glass sits about 2 1/2" off table surface when on the stand. Could be important if your piece is odd shaped and dips down irregularly and is not straight across. (Hard to describe.)
