Create Fine Enamel Art
Make colored enamel jewelry, bowls, home décor and more! Affordability priced this enameling kiln is perfect for beginners or weekend artists. It runs on standard household current, meaning no special wiring is needed.
Interior firing chamber: measures 5" wide by 7" deep by 4" high. Kiln reaches a maximum temperature of approximately 1500° - 1550° F. Only 30 lbs. 120v. 1000 watts.
Firing times are relative to the size of the project and application which the enamel has been applied. This kiln does not have a pyrometer so the 'firing time' becomes familiar after regular use of the kiln.
Delphi Tip: Create a kiln log for firings to keep track of projects, enamel application and firing times.
Note: By using a small length of aluminum wire and placing it on the rack next to the project being fired once the wire melts you know the kiln is at 1220° F and in a short time you'll notice the enamel change from orange peel like to glossy.
