Could be better

Pros : Strong. Predrilled. A nice overall mold.

Cons : The neck on my mold was crooked if you look at the mold head on but nothing that really effected the final product. However, it comes with not even a hint of how to use it and since slumping wine bottles is not the same as fusing regular glass that would have been nice. I am still trying to get the exact right combination of heat and hold.

Pros : Great mold. Excellent quality. Wonderful for making bottle dishes.

Cons : Does not accept wine bottles larger than the 750ml size.

Wine Bottle Spoon Holders

Pros : I have several bottle slump molds. They are very easy to use and so far they are a no fail quick projects. My family loves the spoon rests I have made with them.

Studio-quality mold

Pros : These hold up wonderfully to repeated firings -- I can't remember the last time I had to reapply kilnwash to them.

Cons : None.

Other Thoughts : I wish they came in a size scaled for 1.5L bottles. (The mold Delphi carries for 1.5L bottles is unfortunately not correctly sized for making vessels with raised sides.)
