The CrystalMaster Pro 12 Lap Grinder is designed for the serious hobbyist and professional. No other machine does what a lap grinder can do. It will give your glass project a professional finished look with ease. It can even give a smooth edge to large projects like the 18" fused table top shown above. A must for the serious cold glass worker and fuser!
The giant 12" capacity is perfect for cold working fused glass pieces, and its variable speed means this machine can go slow to fast for perfect grinding and polishing. The system uses 3 magnetic backed and one sticky-backed discs for quick changes in mesh sizes. Use with a direct water supply, or add the recirculating pump as an option. Runs on standard 120 volt household current. One year manufacturers warranty. Suggested retail is $1599, but at Delphi we sell it for less.
This Professional Kit includes everything you need to get started: The CrystalMaster Pro 12 Lap Grinder / Polisher, three 12" diamond laps (120, 400 and 600 grit), and a 12" Polypad urethane fiber pad. Recirculating Submersible Pump, item #42561, sold separately.

Step-by-Step: Using Your CrystalMaster Pro Grinder

1. Begin grinding and shaping with coarse lap until desired shape and size are achieved.
2. Change laps and continue refining edges, working from coarsest lap to polishing pad.
3. Check edges periodically to ensure all grinding marks are buffed out and a smooth even finish is achieved.
