Pros : I have started using different size star bevels in my suncatchers and found that those are the ones that sell faster at craft shows. Customers like the combination of different bevels to create more prizmatic effects.
Cons : The star bevels are not completely symetrical. The curves and points vary on the 4 sides and from bevel to bevel. If you need perfection. You may be a bit disappointed. I think the imperfection adds to the interest of the piece.
Other Thoughts : For impressive, but fast to make suncatchers...use a combination of different sizes and shapes of bevels. Try adding a few dichroic bevels as well.
