About Kokomo Opalescent Glass
Kokomo is one of the oldest names in American art glass, and the textured clears are where it shows. Celtic, Flemish, Ripple, Wavolite and seedy surfaces each break up light differently: some obscure a view while still passing daylight, others distort and animate whatever sits behind them.
Clear textures do work colour cannot. In a bathroom or entry door they give privacy without darkening the room; in a panel they provide contrast and rest between areas of strong colour; in restoration they match the surfaces found in older windows. Delphi carries the Kokomo clear textured range, including iridised finishes that add a shifting sheen over the texture.
