Pros : The V-shape is striking and adds a dramatic flare to your piece.
Cons : I found this stand to be 90 degrees square - but have only received 3 of them. I recommend measuring prior to making your piece to be sure.
Other Thoughts : I had no trouble with the "tabs", I found them to be more extended and forgiving than other stands.

Pros : Welds are well crafted. Rubber feet nice.
Cons : The V Shape is not accurately set to 90 degrees. The manufacture has forgotten the elastic spring back on bending. The V does not match the 90 degree of the glass. Does not look that great and the upper prongs barely contain the glass. This may be a one off defective piece, so check yours if you order. I am reordering because I can't find something better. The 5" version is made more accurately.
