Pros : Sturdy Good support for glass
Cons : Pieces come apart too easily Diameter not 8” as stated
Other Thoughts : I had to glue the semicircle and base pieces together to prevent any accidents. The diameter is more like 7-3/4” than 8” - makes a difference when making your piece.

Pros : I make many plate pet memorials and these stands are more secure than attempting to hang! Especially for larger than 6 inch circles
