Cons : I soaked a piece in this solution for over a week and scrubbed it with a piece of Scotchbrite. There was a negligible reduction in the amount of kiln wash attached to the piece. This chemical really smells so take it outdoors if possible. I initially had it in a small plastic tub in a laundry tub - bad decision. The fumes just concentrated there. By the way, wear rubber or vinyl gloves. It is very unpleasant on your skin.

Other Thoughts : I use it with an tooth brush, dip in it and brush on wash.
