Four years ago I met a fused glass artist at a local festival. Immediately I was hooked on the craft, asking all kinds of questions. I signed up with a friend to take a fusing class and never looked back.

Pros
You can paint with glass! It opens a whole new world of possibilities.

Cons
The finish isn't glossy - capped or uncapped in clear. It is matte and grainy.

Other Thoughts
well worth getting.

Pros
You can cut thick pattern bars and do some neat things with them.

Cons
Loud, messy, inaccurate. Also leaves a rough grind on the edges that does not fire out in the kiln.

Other Thoughts
Not worth buying - mine is functioning as an expensive shelf in my studio.
