Bio

The Story behind the name-Chrysalis Art Glass The earthbound caterpilar weaves a cocoon around itself and by some magical transformation over time, emerges from it's chrysalis as a beautiful butterfly a creature of the air capable of flight. By taking some fairly ordinary components (glass, wire, clay) and with the application of heat and creative manipulation, hopefully a thing of beauty emerges. It is also a playful shortened version of what I do. Chris's Art Glass Chrys-a-lis Hi, I'm Chris, I live in a remote rural area of far western Queensland Australia in the tiny village of Eulo (Pop 45) During the week I live in the township caring for primary age school children who live too far away to travel in to school each day. On the weekends I live on a grazing property gardening and playing with glass crafts.
