WabiSabi Glass's Profile
Bio
Wabi Sabi is the philosophy of my life. It is, literally, the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Those of us who work in kiln formed glass must be patient and somewhat daring since we never know what the kiln will present us. Some of my best pieces have been "accidents". I have learned to give up on perfectionism and embrace the beauty of the finished product. All of my pieces are original designs. I have not been blessed with the talent to draw, so my designs consist of abstract elements and bright colors. My wish as an artist is to share with you the joy I feel in creating my pieces.

Taurus 3 Ring Saw
This was the second glass saw I tried. My first was a bandsaw which I hated. This saw was easy to use and enabled me to make those formerly "impossible" cuts. It's compact size was a welcome addition to my small studio. The instructional video was easy to follow but practice was the best teacher.
The saw was very noisy. The blades don't seem to last long and are expensive to replace.
As a starving artist, I thought long and hard about making this somewhat expensive purchase. It was worth the money!
