Nick's Grinders Mate
I first discovered this helpful tool on the final day of a stained glass class I was taking - had I only known about it beforehand! It's lightweight, easy to use, and makes easily grinding smaller pieces a snap without GRINDING your fingertips. The rubber tips act like a soft vice and give you perfect control over the piece.
Not so great with long, narrow pieces, as the glass loses integrity when off of a solid surface. I broke a few this way.
For any of you copper foilers out there, you will love this tool! It saved my poor fingers.
