Bio

My name is Tara. I have a BA in Ceramics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MA in Sculpture and Art Criticism from Pratt Institute. I have been working with clay for more than thirty years, and with glass for about ten years. I am also an art educator and writer. I love to experiment with materials. When I teach I try to instill the joy of creativity that comes with the willingness to play. Surprises that come with the magic of heat are all part of learning.
