Shiny silver!, May 7, 2012 4 stars
Pros
This came out with a really lovely high shine silver. I used the Magic Outlining Pen - Fine Point, which worked brilliantly. I dipped a paintbrush and then wiped it into the pen well. This drop covered about 6-7 pendants in scroll work before it ran out. (Only one layer is needed for complete coverage) What you paint is what you get so even tiny dots work and don't spread out but if you make a mistake make sure you wipe it off well or else you may end up with silver swipe marks. It should last quite a while as you only need a tiny amount. I was very impressed with the color & shine and ease in drawing via the pen.
Cons
No instructions other than on this website. It smells, work in a ventilated area and wear a mask. It is a brown color before firing so it is hard to see on black and dark glass. It is pricy but if you want silver I'm not sure if there are any other options that work as well.
Other Thoughts
I would buy again.

Detail work made easy, January 25, 2011 5 stars
Pros
No dripping, only draws when you are touching the surface. Can do very detailed work but you need to have a steady hand. Very fine line great for pendants. Perhaps the next size up would be better for larger projects.
Cons
Maybe a larger ink well or an add on piece would be good for larger work so you don't have to refill in the middle of something.
Other Thoughts
Wait a little bit for the ink to flow into the tip. Practice on paper or tile until the ink flows evenly. You can go over the lines when ink is dry if you need to deepen the color. I have used a glass paint that is a little thicker than water but not as thick as acrylic paint. If the paint drips of a paintbrush without flicking, chances are it will be fine to use in the pen. A steady hand is good to have but just dotting a design can work well if you are a bit shaky.

Size is just right, December 29, 2010 4 stars
Pros
Lovely heart shape. Great if you just want to do one in a small kiln although 2 will fit. Can use all the left over bits up with some fun effects.
Cons
No instructions but they can be found on the net. Trial & error in working with melting times but slow ramp prevents bubbles and mold cracking.
Other Thoughts
I use shelf primer with no problems. Coated 5 times first time and then 2 every time I use thereafter. Never had any sticking issues.

Great size & shape, December 29, 2010 4 stars
Pros
Makes a lovely shaped pendant piece. Can use little pieces of glass, frit & dichroic.
Cons
No instructions included. Information can be found on internet but tweaking to your kiln may be necessary. Sometimes needs a little grind and firepolish.
Other Thoughts
I have a small kiln and I can fuse 2 of these placed towards the back of my kiln. I don't overfill, only ever fill to the top of the mold or else they can end up too thick. I coated about 4-5 times with kilnwash including the upper edge. I have never washed the kiln wash off but I do re-coat with a quick brush over twice - every time. No problems or sticking with about 10 fires so far. A slow fire eliminates bubbles and prevents mold cracking.

What, no black?, September 3, 2010 4 stars
Pros
A selection of colors that can be used to sample and test out techniques and such.
Cons
No black and only an offish white. I bought 2 packs and the noodles as well and NO BLACK in either. Not all colors available are included.
Other Thoughts
It would be good if there was a pack with all the colors represented especially black. It's still a good sample pack to work with if you've never used them before.
