Hi-Temp 1800 Mold Release and Lubricant
Easy to apply.
After applying 4 coats in criss-crossing directions to kiln shelf and stainless mold for a pot melt (1700 degrees), I was appalled when I opened the kiln to find the pot melt shattered since the glass stuck to both the shelf and stainless mold.
I thought I'd found the perfect answer to making pot melts easier. Couldn't have been more wrong. It may work at lower temps. as does most boron nitride, but definitely not at casting temps.
