Bearing is not sealed. Drums are plastic and do not spin accurately. Grit flies up into bearings.		 Other Thoughts
This sanders bearings and drums did not work after only 1 month of operation. Had to send it back to CA. for repair. Labor, parts and shipping both ways cost more than the sander! Tech rep from Gryphon said this is a hobby tool only, but he couldn't tell me how often you could use it as a hobby. Disappointed and has cost too much.
