Pros
A must for leaded glass work, however, incredibly horrid on the wrists when having to cut 100's of pieces of leaded came.
Cons
Other Thoughts
I made (4) Mission Style Door panels 12" x 24" and needed lots of 7/8" pieces.

Pros
Small, price is right. I bought the beetle bits cutting system, so grinding was minimal, as that system rocks. When I did have to grind, this grinder was powerful enough to do what it's supposed to do. While the table surface area is small 8 x 8, It certainly large enough to accommodate what I was doing. I really can't see where a giant table is needed for stained glass, but I'm sure there's someone out there that needs it larger.
Cons
Some water does spray off into the surrounding area. While I call this a con, that doesn't bother me. I'm not working on the dining room table. Any grinder with a water feed is going to spray water, and shields are helpful, but never do they contain all the spray. A towel spread out with the grinder on top is sufficient.

Pros
I'm a cabinet maker who had to make leaded glass mission style panels. Geometric by design with similar dimensions. 60 pieces each door panel. As this was a one time request from a client, I didn't want to invest in hundreds of dollars in tools, and was trying to keep it simple and cheap. I'm always looking for a new skill to add to my repertoire, and leaded glass was one of them. After contemplating the number of cuts, I splurged and bought this system, and really glad I did. My panels came out BEAUTIFULLY!!!! 4 identical panels, thanks to this system. My soldering technique??? Well, the 4th panel looks the best. Directions do stink, but this is not Rocket Surgery. While I still don't know what I'm doing, this tool certainly makes me appear like I know what I'm doing. I still have thousands of questions regarding stained glass, but not about this system. It's worth it. There are no cons.
