Taurus 3 Ring Saw
It cuts.
Most of the parts are made of plastic. Sure, when it's working, it's good, but way too many cheap parts are used. I've replaced the groove grommets a couple of times this past year and the belts. Now the drive gear cracked and the metal part of the drive gear is practically welded on. I called up gemini who told me that when the drive gear gets warm, as it does with normal use, the aluminum part of the drive gear swells and basically welds itself onto the steal drive. She told me to use a pulley puller or cut it off. Trying to find a puller that small is almost impossible. Cutting it off is impossible as there is nowhere near enough room to even get a metal cutter for a dremel bit in there. The machine is also super loud and the face shield makes it so you can't even see what your cutting. Overall, poor construction of plastic for too high of a price. Metal parts would be nice.
