Class Description: Looking for something different to do with your leftover fusible scrap bits, or just to have something truly unique in your home? Combine the sleek, modern look of kiln cast glass and the old school appeal of mosaic with this fun filled 4 1/2 hour class. Create your own mosaic on a 9” circle. Design tips and achieving the appearance of grout lines will be covered in class. Projects will be fired by the instructor after class and will be ready to pick up after a week, or shipped to you for a small fee.

All tools and materials for this class are covered with enrollment. This includes but is not limited to: fusible glass and frits as needed, Fusible Hangers for display if chosen. Use of our brushes, spoons, tweezers, GlasTac, etc. 

Safety: Closed toed shoes are recommended when cutting or handling glass. Safety glasses should be worn when cutting glass, and will be provided if necessary.

Additional Tools & Materials: It is recommended to bring design inspiration for your piece! When choosing a reference photo, stick to simple shapes/ outlines, or search for clipart of your desired image (ex: clipart flower). We will have paper available if you wish to draw your pattern.

Create a large decorative fused glass bowl for your home or as a gift.  Students will work with fusible glasses, including frits and stringers, to make a colorful 16" round bowl.  Basic fusing information will be covered along with glass cutting techniques.  No previous glass fusing or glass cutters skills are required.  We'll teach you all you need to know to fabricate a glass vessel for your table or countertop.  Students are encouraged to come with simple design ideas for their creation.  Bowls will be fused and slumped to be picked up at a later date.  Bowls can be shipped for an additional nominal fee.

Description: Learn the inside and out of how to successfully make fused glass Pocket Vases.  The decorative options when combining texture and function are truly endless.  This Class will provide all you need to know to create a one of a kind free standing pocket vase with wrought iron stand included.  Students will also make a second decorative pocket vase suitable for hanging.  This class is a one day, 2½  hour class that will focus on firing schedules, sizing, incorporating wire and adding three dimensional texture.

Safety: Please do not wear sandals if cutting or handling glass. Safety glasses must be worn during class, provided if needed.

Tools & Materials Included: All fusing materials are included and cutting tools are available for use.

Type of Class: Demonstration and many hands-on projects. Students will make many projects and be encouraged to create their one of a kind pieces based on the things they've learned.

Class Description: In this jam packed three day class, students will learn the basics, including glass compatibility, kiln preparation and operation, fusing, slumping and annealing. Sample tons of fusing supplies including frits, stringers, confetti and Dichroic glass along with the use of various slumping , textured, and casting molds.  Words can't do this class justice. Make a beautiful fused glass bird bath for your yard or garden.  In this 2½ hr class you will create your own unique  custom glass bowl for the bird bath. The class will include all the decorative glass elements you will need and even the metal stand to complete the project. Choose from several design options or bring your own.  Students will use fusible glass frit, stringers and cut glass to create their own garden master pieces.
No experience is required but glass cutting experience would be helpful.
