Experience Required: All stained glass skill levels welcomed.
Type of Class: Demonstration and hands-on projects
Class Description: Work textured or fabulously stained glass together into graceful panels that join together and seem to move as they hang on your wall! Fabricate several panels that hang together to create an installation as large as you desire without the usual hanging challenges of a large work. Layer the panels for added depth and add sculptural solder for unexpected texture. Explore surface decoration and hanging techniques. Because a variety of project variations will be presented, a selection of items will be offered for sale during class from which to choose to create a work involving special metal, or custom-made fused embellishments. After this class you may never make just a glass panel again! Get to know Cathy Claycomb and her work in our blog.
Safety: Please do not wear sandals if cutting or handling glass. Safety glasses are recommended
