Pros : Val is an incredible instructor. Her instructions are very clear and concise. She is open and likes that we all asked questions. Being a self taught fuser, I really appreciated the coverage of basics like cutting glass the proper way & not putting too much pressure on the glass (I was definitely doing both of these incorrectly previously to this class). She answered all questions and demonstrated how and why we were doing things as well as how to avoid other issues. She was especially good at making time to work with each individual as needed. I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of glass we had to choose from, how it was included with the class & without any limits on the number of items we made within the normal time constraints. Val mailing us our last days projects was unbelievable. I can't wait to get them. It was truly one of the best classes I have ever taken. I hope to take more classes in the future.
Cons : Maybe make us aware of the need for the pictures being fused onto the glass before we get there. I had downloaded almost all of my pictures recently before I came up to attend the class. A list of suggested places to stay and restaurants would be helpful.
Other Thoughts : A list of suggested places to stay and restaurants would be helpful.

Pros : Excellent instruction. Val was very patient with our questions and is a superior teacher. We had a good group and became friends because of the engaging/safe environment created by Val. Project choices were great. We had direction when needed, but also felt free to go where our creativity took us.
Cons : My only con would be that it was so short. I would love to do a week of fusing.
Other Thoughts : I came with some apprehensions about my skill with fusing, but now feel very confident about my ability as I continue to learn the craft. Everyone at Delphi Glass was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this class and facility.

Pros : Val was an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable. It was a great opportunity to get hands on experience in various techniques. Also fantastic to get to come home with completed projects and they also ship your projects that are fired the last day to you.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : Needed to know how lunch break worked; as in pack your lunch, work through your lunch or go out for lunch. I also wasn’t sure about what to wear.
