Fused Plate and Coasters

Type of Class: Demonstration and hands-on projects

Class Description: Making a custom plate and coasters has never been easier. In this class you will make a 10 in. decorative plate and 4 coasters completely out of fused glass! You will lay out a design in glass (we will do the tricky part for you and fuse it), then return in a week or so to pick up the finished plate and coasters, or have it shipped to you for an additional fee.

Safety:        Not to fear, glass is safe however we do have a few safety procedures to ensure this.
                    Closed toed shoes are recommended when cutting or handling glass.
                    Safety glasses should be worn during class. Glasses will be provided if necessary.
                    Please note glass is not considered food safe unless capped with clear

Tools & Materials Included: 10 in. clear fusible glass disc, Fusible glass for 4 coasters, Fusible glass frits, stringers, etc. as needed. Use of our spoons, brushes, and tweezers.

Additional Tools & Materials: Please bring your own inspiration; pattern ideas, drawings, or photos for a 10 in. circle and four 4" coasters. We will have paper available for drawing your brilliant designs.
