  •   Butterfly Texture Mold

Pros : Fused glass using high fire Boron Nitride. Details were perfect. Glass lifted off mold easily.
Cons : The glass removed from the mold easily, however, the deeper parts of the design brought with it some plaster from the mold. I could not remove all of it.
Other Thoughts : I had read somewhere that Boron Nitride was good for texture molds because it allows for better detail on the glass. I don't know if my problem was using BN or just weak pieces of plaster. I did not pre-fire the mold.

Pros : Beautiful detail, smooth surface, nice size. Works well with Hotline Primo Primer, and all details stay crisp.
Cons : none
Other Thoughts : Butterfly and grass details can be highlighted after firing the glass with Pebeo paints, and still be food-safe.
