Pros : Will hold small items
Cons : The alligator teeth, made of metal, will scratch your glass.
Other Thoughts : I had high hopes when I purchased it. But, when I realized how bad it scratches the glass I was not pleased at all. Was advised to use some sort of barrier between the teeth and the glass. Very cumbersome to work with. Not Convenient at all.

Pros : Great for holding those small things in place when you need to solder it on.
Cons : Don't get your solder iron toon close! Accidentally soldered a clamp to a project when I wasn't paying attention.
Other Thoughts : Love this little tool. Will probably need more than one.

Pros : Unit is small enough to remain on my bench. It is great when used to hold rings and hangers.
Cons : I found that the clips are too strong. It's a bit hard to position my piece. I also found that the serrated edges of the clips damage the solder lines. I also have to use pliers to tighten the adjustment joints that hold the piece in the desired position.

Pros : amazingly versatile, can be positioned at almost any angle, This is the extra hands everyone needs for jobs such as adding hanging rings. I love it.

Pros : This tool is good for keeping small parts in proper position for soldering. Works well for attaching jump rings on suncatchers.
Cons : Doesn't work as well for very large or heavy pieces. Make sure the arms are tightened so they don't lose their position
Other Thoughts : I've wanted one of these for quite a while. I'm glad I got it now. Makes some of my glass assembly much easier.
