The Ultimate Production & Glass Sculpture Kiln
Capable of firing large scale glass projects, the Liberty Bell kiln allows the individual artist or production operation all the room necessary to reach ultimate success. Firing at 1650 degrees Fahrenheit, this kiln is suitable for all glass related firing such as painting, fusing, slumping and casting.
Firing Chamber Firing dimensions are huge: 74" x 50" x 13" deep. The upper chamber or "bell" is constructed of a fiber material that provides fast heat up (see image below). All heating elements are contained within the bell. The firing surface is 6' x 4' and is constructed of fiber brick to offer excellent firing support while maintaining a thermal barrier. Actual firing should be accomplished by using a refractory board or refractory fiber on the surface of the firebrick. Complete outside dimensions are 87" wide x 74" front to back x 85" tall. Dimensions include the bell, table, and entire lifting surface. Kiln should be placed at least 18" away from any wall surface, and there needs to be enough room to operate the hand crank.
Liberty Lift System The Liberty Bell kiln uses the "Liberty Lift" two post lifting system. This unique system uses a weight assist design that allows the user to effortlessly raise and lower the bell via the hand crank. You'll always have easy access to three sides of the table, and to all four sides when you roll the table away from the kiln. Self-resetting safety latches (see image below) securely hold the bell in the open position, and self centering stops keep the table properly aligned when repositioning under the bell.
Rampmaster with Express Mode Controller
The Liberty Bell is equipped with the Rampmaster with Express Mode automatic temperature control. It will hold six user-defined programs with eight segments per program. Your production firings can be created and stored for easy retrieval and use. A host of on-the-fly features make adjustment to the firing quick and precise.
