Pros : None.
Cons : It sprays water and glass dust all over you, up in your face, and your work surface. Noisy and rough, this is a design disaster.
| Other Thoughts : Get a belt grinder for the straight edge pieces... you'll be much happier. |

Pros : The grinder would be good for a beginner or hobbist, but wouldn't suggest it for any serious work or large pieces. The two sizes of grinding bits are useful for projects, but without additions, the smaller bit is almost useless. Quiet until breakdown.
Cons : The motor on my grinder broke down, with a fuse that popped. I have had issues finding the size fuse, as the user manual does not specify, but there is an access hatch for the user to get at the fuse. The small bit for grinding is raised well above the surface of the grinder, so it would have to be used with the upper deck attachment, which is virtually unable to be found.
| Other Thoughts : I wouldn't use this brand again. It was good for a beginner, but when you are required to contact tech support and have the manufacturer replace something as simple as a blown fuse, which can take around 6 weeks time, it really isn't useful unless you have a very part time and rare use for the machine. |

Pros : works fine for about a year.
Cons : Had this grinder less then two years. Did not use it heavily (one project a month). Recently grinder seemed to lose power and then caught fire. Grinder is beyond warranty so took out motor and found the windings had come apart. The motor is made in China (more Chinese junk that ends up in American recycle yards). Will replace with a higher horsepower US manufactured motor. Would not recommend this product to anyone. Look around at the professional studios and you will notice none of the pros use this grinder. Stay away from this product.

Pros : I got this grinder as a gift and it's really the best I've ever used. More uses than many other grinders in the same price range. The flat disk is perfect for ensuring your boxes fit together flawlessly and it also makes those strait strips level with very little effort.
Cons : No cons to speak of.
| Other Thoughts : Comes with an AWESOME warranty. The disk and bit run at the same time, so there's no need to switch between the two. This really is a grinder that does it all, perfect for the home hobbiest and a great value. |

Pros : Great grinder. I use it all the time.
Cons : When I need to switch from using the router bit to the disc, I find I need to either turn the grinder box 180 degrees or take off the router bit so that I can turn the top platform around. Would be nice if was easier to switch between the 2.

Pros : Simple enough for the beginner to use and get great results.
Cons : Would recommend getting the shield or a face shield to keep the grit out of your teeth!
