Gryphon Convertible Grinder — Comfort Meets Innovation
The Gryphon Convertible Grinder is designed to make glass grinding easier and more comfortable than ever. With a simple twist of the base, you can switch the work surface from horizontal to an inclined position. This lets you sit while you work or stand without needing to hunch over, reducing fatigue and strain. Changing the angle is quick and easy. Just remove the thumbscrew, rotate the base 180 degrees, and reattach it—no tools required. You can adjust the orientation as often as you like to suit your project.

The Convertible Grinder includes a gooseneck spotlight, built-in electric pump that keeps the bit cool with a steady water flow, with minimal splash. It comes with a face shield, two grinding bits (1" and 1/4") and a second-story platform for smaller pieces. Powered by a strong DC motor and backed by a five-year manufacurer warranty.

Pros : I love this grinder. Being able to tilt the table top really helps with stress and tension on my neck and shoulders.
Cons : Grinders are typically noisy but this one is extra noisy. Sometimes it makes a loud pitch noise that is on and off. I have not found a way to make it stop yet.

Pros : Never breaks down. Water pump works great. I never have problems with it and I’ve had it for years.
Cons : None.
Other Thoughts : Will definitely buy other Gryphon products.

Cons : Haven’t found any
Other Thoughts : This is a breeze to use and it’s easy to switch bits and rotate platform surface. I love my gryphon grinder!

When and how did you get started in stained glass? Ive been interested in stained glass for as long as I can remember. Contest ends June 30 and winners announced July 9, 2010. Following its annual festivities for National Art Glass Month, Delphi has organized another online event with the help of its partner ArtFire. The first annual Ring of Fire Artist Challenge is designed for all artisans of all crafts and abilities, inviting them to use common art supplies in new and creative ways. Chances are, right now, in reading this blog post, youre avoiding an overdue task. I too was avoiding a laundry list of work-related tasks in writing this. Procrastination is a part of life, and its certainly always been a part of mine. As a teenager, my parents would accuse me of putting off everything from piano practice to math homework.
