Bio

Jane has a background in music, art, clinical counseling and biofeedback. She was raised by a mother who was a wonderful water color artist - though she dabbled in many forms - and concert pianist. Her love of fused glass came about after spending time in Washington with friends 15 years ago. She plays with it, creating whimsical art. Pieces created are posted on facebook as well as sold at the summer markets. She took up stained glass art in her 20s while living in Chico, CA and created many a fine piece of art with glass. Her largest was for above a front door in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, 900+ pieces depicting a wine barrel full of grapes and the family name. Originally from Northern California, Jane has also spent 9 years in Washington, 7 years in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, and she is now in her 3rd year in Steamboat Springs CO where she gets to play at what she is passionate about, including skiing!
