Bio

Songbyrd Street Studios is a mother and daughter owned business. Marie, the daughter, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art from Cazenovia College, NY. Her medium of choice was fused glass, with traditional painting a close second. Penny, the mom, an untrained artist, was intrigued with the fused glass process. Marie became her teacher and together they began a new venture turning their passion into a business. Each unique piece they create is a work of art. There are never two pieces that are exactly the same, although some pieces can be similar when working with the same piece of glass. We are committed to bringing art into every home to be enjoyed so we strive to keep prices moderate and affordable for you -- our customer. Custom orders are welcome so if you have a certain color in mind that you don't see on our site, send us a request. We would love to chat with you. We believe that life without art is like a song without music.
