Pros
Used it for the first time and it was perfect width to fit between pieces with hinge joint. Nice peace of mind knowing that it is there giving glass more stability.

The mat is nice backing for cutting glass and supporting it so it doesn't snap under pressure

Cons
the mat has a chemical smell that has not quite gone away and its been a couple of months
