Bio

I am a Brooklyn based artist and recently retired teacher. I now have the time to focus on art and have been experimenting with using stained glass in conjunction with paint, foils, and glass beads. I have been fascinated with painting different colors under translucent colored glass to change the color. Using foil and beads, I have achieved the illusion of the lights appearing as if they are on when the light hits them in just the right direction. I have also experimented with painting on the back of the glass, on the substrate, and on the surface of the glass to create depth.
