Ladybug Stained Glass's Profile

Bio

Hi, I'm Nancy. I live in sunny Colorado out on the high plains. I love making stained glass panels and other stuff. I took a stained glass class in 2003 and have been loving it ever since. Last year, I quit my part-time job (actually I retired) and started selling my stained glass at arts and crafts shows, and also on Etsy. (No longer on Artfire.)

Removes flux pretty well as far as I can tell.

I think that dish soap (Dawn) does just as well.

I used 60/40 solder (don't know the brand I used on this piece) and black patina. Thanks for all the kind words!

This cabinet came with plain clear glass, and I just took it out and put these panels in. No need to cut the center out!

Pros
I bought this glass just because I loved it. I've used it for background a couple of times. I plan on using it in a geometric piece.

Doesn't go with just any piece

Depending on the piece you get, it is great for making beautiful fall leaves.

A stunning glass, September 30, 2011 5 stars
Pros
This is one of the most gorgeous red glasses I have worked with. It made a beautiful poppy.
Cons
Other Thoughts
If this is the same glass I have worked with (the numbers are the same), then it is red streaked with red. Just a beautiful color.
