Varelli's Wearable Art's Profile
Bio
Varelli has been working with glass for over ten years and continues to create stunning hand made pieces in her workshop at Wooloweyah, a beautiful village situated on the east coast of Northern NSW, Australia, on the banks of Lake Wooloweyah.
Her love of glass started twenty years ago and over the last three years, kiln formed glass art (fused and slumped glass) has been the main focus of her works including pieces based on natural themes. Sharman has now moved into the world of Dichroic Glass creating beautiful and unique jewellery using this ever evolving medium, each piece being totally unique. These make excellent gifts and exquisite pieces for your personal collection and all exhibit the creative flair and attention to detail that is inherent in every one of Varelli’s works. All of the pieces are properly kiln annealed and created from high quality art glass. She is a self-representing artist who takes great pride in what she creates working in a country home studio where family and friends enjoy nature and tranquility.
