Pros
The microwave kiln is a wonderful way to learn if fusing is for you. I have had mine for 2 weeks and have been making some fantastic items. I wasn't sure I wanted a kiln but now I am saving for one. I will still use the microwave kiln just because you can do so much with it and the waiting to see what you have done is so short. It is worth the money as long as you understand you will only be able to do small items in it.

Cons
The instructions could be a little better as far as letting you know what glass is fusible in it. I had to contact a friend to find out just how much experimenting I could do being totally new to fusing. Could also give a little more info on adjusting fusing times depending on the watts of your microwave, I over fused my first piece and left some major screwed up places in my kiln but it is still working great.

Other Thoughts
I would totally recommend anyone who is considering a kiln or who just wants to play around with out putting out big bucks to try this kiln. I teach mosaics and now several of my students have decided they want to try a microwave kiln too. It is very addicting once you start fusing you don't want to stop!
