Lava Glass Works & Jewelry's Profile
Bio
I love color and it doesn't get any better than with glass. I started working with hot glass after many years with flat glass. My first lampworking class led me to make jewelry, which I had never thought about before. I have always been involved with art, but not beading. Next came the fused focal pieces for the jewelry and a larger kiln to make plates and bowls. The world of art glass is growing more each day. There are so many fabulous hot glass artists that I am always very flattered when someone buys one of my creations.
The name for my glass shop was inspired by the ancient lava field I live on and the views of beautiful Mt. Lassen from my property.
The picture shows me in Venice this spring. A wonderful place to go to be surrounded with two things I love, gorgeous glass and gellato.
Thanks for looking. Pam
